Social Networking -- Keeping in Touch

I think keeping in touch with your friends for teenagers is extremely important. If a teenager would not keep in touch with his/her friends they would be left out. It is the way that kids do this networking that is getting out of hand. Every and all afternoon kids are on chat or facebook contacting their friends. This is making them not be able to do the exercise the kids need. That's why kids are getting fatter. Although, kids don't care about their chores. The only thing they care about is talking with their friends, which is by cell phone and computer. It's just the way it is these days.

  1. At first you start your paragraph by saying that Facebook is good because you keep in touch with your friends. Then you keep on going with your paragraph saying that Facebook is bad and that it takes time away from teenagers when they could be doing exercise. Other than that, I actually agree with you. Facebook, in my opinion, is a time waster, but an addicting one. We teenagers DO spend most of our free time in the computer chatting or just entering Facebook. People SHOULD exercise but we just spend our time playing on the computer. We should control our will power and schedule our time so we have both time for exercising and having fun.

  2. Tomas' "Social Networking - Keeping In Touch".

I totally think as you think. Facebook is good in a certain number of ways, such as the ones you names. Teenagers do need a place where they can keep in touch with their friends when they are not seeing them at school. Without this, we would get bored, but there's a problem. By doing this in excess, kids nowadays have lost the discipline of exercising. Exercise is one of the most important things that a person must do. It's also the fault of the new food chains, but Facebook and other sites are certainly guilty for making kids fatter too. This is what I think, you have a very good opinion about your paragraph Tommy, it's interesting!
